12. Children’s Privacy

Our Services support students, including minors. Tributaries EC complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) with respect to the collection of personal information about children under the age of 13.

For paid accounts created on behalf of a child under 13, parents will be presented with a direct COPPA notice prior to data collection. We collect only the information about a child that is necessary to provide the educational consulting services described in the Membership Agreement.

Students ages 13 and older may use the website, participate in group sessions, and attend one-on-one sessions independently, provided that a parent or guardian has created the account and consented to services on their behalf.

Parents and guardians may at any time review their child’s personal information, request corrections, request deletion of the information, or refuse to permit further collection. If further collection is refused, the child’s access to services that depend on that information may be limited or discontinued. Requests may be submitted by contacting us at contact@tributariesEC.com.

Personal information about children under 13 is deleted within 90 days of the end of the consulting engagement unless the parent or guardian requests that it be retained for continuity of service.
