Inclusion and Accessibility Statement
Commitment to Inclusion
Tributaries Educational Consulting provides services to students and families regardless of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, neurotype, socioeconomic status, family structure, or primary language.
We recognize that the educational system does not serve all students equally. First-generation students, immigrant families, neurodiverse learners, students with disabilities, LGBTQ+ students, students of color, students from low-income backgrounds, and families navigating language barriers routinely face barriers that other families do not. Serving these students and families is central to our mission. Our services, pricing structure, and resource offerings are designed with these realities in mind.
Tributaries EC was founded by a Chinese immigrant with extensive experience in American boarding school admissions and an American educator. We maintain a team that reflects a range of backgrounds, languages, and lived experiences.
Tributaries Educational Consulting maintains a strict Code of Conduct to ensure a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all staff, instructors, and members. Any client or prospective client who engages in harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or hostile conduct toward our staff or other members—including but not limited to conduct directed at an individual based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability—will be subject to immediate termination of services and forfeiture of membership, without refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual whose behavior disrupts our operations, creates a hostile environment for our educators, or violates this Code of Conduct.
Website Accessibility
Tributaries EC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We endeavor to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level and are actively working to improve the accessibility of our site on an ongoing basis.
